Editing Phase One.

- We started to edit the footage for Lady Sovereign and most of this was successful as we go the right shots and a good variety of camera angles and locations. Also, everyone arrived on time and the cast member playing Lady Sovereign wore an appropriate costume for the role. Thus, we found it easier to edit and put onto the timeline, matching it with the pace of the song.

- However, whilst editing her parts we noticed that not all of the lyrics were in sync, as the cast member did not lip-sync the song as well as we would have expected. Therefore some of the footage may have to be re-filmed and we'll use the footage that is best.

- On top of this, we saw that this performance looked weak compared to the performance of the main singer which then made the video look unbalanced in terms of performing and acting.

Filming Day Three.

As discussed in our meeting, we thought that re-filming the female lead would be best in order to improve the music video. The filming was successful as it was sunny, despite the cold weather plus we got enough filmed in the short time given. When putting it on FinalCut for editing, we found that both performers matched up more than before making the video look stronger.

Meeting Six.

- After seeing our music video so far, we realised that something was missing which was the narrative and that there was too much performance. Particularly with the locations also being in the same place making it look as though it drags on. Due to this, it made our music video weaker and having lots of gaps which did not make the music video as entertaining as it should be.
- We also found that the main singer was in the same location for too long, to solve this problem, we decided that we should locate him in an office to not only change locations but to give the video a narrative and link back to the lyrics.
- We also found that the footage for Lady Sovereign did not match up to the main singer performance wise. Because of this, we decided to re-film the female lead but with someone different in order to get the best footage that matches up with the performance of the main singer.

Record Label.

To our track 'Nine2Five' the record label that we have chosen is a UK based company called Polydor Records which is owned by Universal Music Group. Universal Music Group is one of the three Major labels, the other two being Sony Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group. Polydor was founded in Germany after the first world war. In 1946, Polydor became a popular music label and since then it has tried to keep afloat with new artists, signings and singles. In 1998, PolyGram was purchased by Seagram and absorbed into its Universal Music Group. Polydor also has another branch since 1994 called Polydor's Nashville, Tennessee division which specialises on country music.

In the early 1970's, the label had large incomes form successful UK bands such as Slade, The Who and The Jam. Since then it has remained one of the strongest labels in the country with artists such as Take That, Girls Aloud, The Saturdays, Lawson and an Indie roster through the imprint with acts like Kate Nash and Snow Patrol. It is also the UK label for American-based acts under Interscope-Geffen-A&M such as Eminem, The Black Eyed Peas, Pussycat Dolls, Snoop Dog, Gwen Stefani, 50 Cent, Lana Del Rey and Lady Gaga.

Polydor launched Fascination records in the spring of 2006 which is a music label dedicated to pop music. Girls Aloud and Sophie Ellis-Bextor were transferred to the new label and groups like The Saturdays were created. Fascination also signed up teen pop artists from US label Hollywood Records such as the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and the Scene and Demi Lovato. In 2008, Polydor obtained distribution of The Rolling Stones' back catalogue as well as new releases.

Digipak designs.

These are ideas for the cover and the inside of the Digipak, I have decided to stick to the theme of work and clocks. For the Digipak we cannot use thereal name of the band, therefore I have made up a name up called Joint-less Bones (due to change). I will also use our song as 'featuring' on my Digipak.
